Upon entering the main floor, you'll discover four attractively appointed bedrooms, each accompanied by its own opulent full bathroom. The first bedroom on the main floor, is suited with 2 queen beds, offering enchanting vistas of the shimmering pool, and jack and jill ensuite bathroom complete with an inviting tub/shower combination. Located on the pool side is the second bedroom, suited with a full/full bunk bed with twin trundle, this bedroom also shares the jack and jill bathroom. Positioned on the serene street side, the third and fourth bedrooms are suited with King-sized beds and private ensuites, walk in shower.

Ascend to the top floor, where two additional bedrooms and half bathroom await alongside the culinary epicenter of the home: the gourmet kitchen and gracious dining/living room area. Indulge in a completely supplied haven designed to cater to every guest's want! Immerse yourself in culinary delights with an broad array of kitchen amenities, from essential baking dishes to a sleek blender and a trusty toaster, all complemented by brand new appliances that promise seamless culinary adventures.

The first of these upper-floor retreats is located on the street side, suited with a King-sized bed and a private ensuite tub/shower setup. Located on the street side, the final bedroom features a queen bed.

Beyond the kitchen, guests are treated to an array of additional amenities thoughtfully supplied for their enjoyment. Dive into beachside bliss with body boards and comfortable beach chairs, shielded from the sun's rays by fashonable umbrellas.

You must be at least 28 years old to book and if your group is not related, the average age of all adults (not including kids) must not be under 30 years old.

Please inquiry about home events, weddings, rehearsal dinners, or any other events of any kind for approval.

NO Animals- if you bring an unauthorized pet you will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be given.

NO Smoking inside or on/around the premise

NO fire pits or deep fryers allowed on premise

Please be aware that there are exterior security cameras located on the premises directed towards the parking area and/or entrances for added security and tranquility of mind.

Due to severe allergies some homes may not allow service or support animals. You must disclose and get permission for any service and or support animals prior to booking.

Pool and/or Spa is private and unattended, so swim at your own risk. All kids must be supervised in the water at all time by an adult. No food, drinks, alcohol, glass, etc are allowed in or around the pool. Pools are serviced weekly. Please keep in mind that due to tropical nature of the island, it is not unusual to find unexpected debris and sand in the pool.

The pool is open year round. The heater typically keeps the pool water between 80-84 degrees April 1 - Oct 31 depending on outside air temperatures and weather. There is no additional cost to heat the pool, but we can not guarantee the pool water temperatures due to the dependency of the weather and air temperatures. Please keep in mind that the heater only runs when the pump runs and typically the pump does not run at nighttime due to timers.

Cleaning fee will include an upgraded linen package with sheets and towels for all beds, bed making, and an essentials package to get your vacation started. 1 set of towels per person (1 set includes 1 body towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 wash cloth), and a kitchen towel. We provide a basic starter pack of essentials for your first day including a roll of toilet paper in each restroom, hand soap, a roll of paper towels, and a trash can liner. (Last min. bookings: We need at least 24hr notice in order to provide linens)

Located near the beach, Experience luxury at The Orchards on Oak Island's Lemon Lot 7, a spacious 6-bedroom retreat is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Oak Island Golf Club and Founders Club at St. James Plantation are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Caswell Beach and 57th Place West Access Park. Tips for getting the perfect Oak Island vacation rental experience:

Sticking to a budget:

  • In the Southport area, The sooner you can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • To find the best rental within your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Some hosts offer rate reductions for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Many rental management companies supply Southport area visitor guides which include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Southport area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent many difficulties.
  • Lock your rental property while you're out! Don't let thieves ruin your trip.
  • During check-in, record any damages to the property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors disrupting your home life. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed everything at departure. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent ratings to propel future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience find their best vacation rental. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
