Welcome to your Happy Place on 6 Sandspur Trail !

This handsome 4 bedroom bespoke luxury home is oceanfront 2nd row, and features gorgeous vistas of the ocean. Sit on one of the 2 HUGE decks and soak up the sun then return to watch the sun sink into the ocean. The decks are ideal for sunbathing or star gazing. This will be your happy place!

Inside you will find a reverse floor plan with many bespoke appointments and constructed-ins. The center point of the home is a sizable center island with enough seating for 6 and striking granite kitchen with white coastal cabinets. Top of the line appliances, and a entirely outfitted kitchen await. To the right is a handsome living room with granite fireplace and walls of windows overlooking the ocean. To the left is a dining room, card and game area with constructed in cabinets and tons of space. All rooms open onto a humongous half moon deck overlooking South Beach with unobstructed vistas.

Downstairs, you will find 4 huge bedrooms, and 2nd living area and a wrap around covered porch. The Master suite will spoil you and features a constructed in Queen bed with storage underneath, bespoke constructed in closet, and giant master bath with glass walk in shower and tile. The other 2 guest rooms feature a Queen Bed and a Double Bed. And the kids room has a constructed in bunk bed, desk and play area. The living room offers a comfortable couch, 2 chairs and enormous flat screen TV. Across the hall is also a wine bar with constructed in mini refrigerator.

The garage offers tons of storage with one four passenger golf cart and one six passenger, body boards and beach chairs. There is a BHI golf access Club available, and a Shoals Club available at an additional fee.

We do not advertise bicycles, as we do not maintain the bicycles, we recommend renting them from Riverside Adventure or Coastal Urge.

About the Area

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in South Beach, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island. The Clubs at St. James and Southport Marina are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Carolina Beach and Bay Beach. North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting.

Sticking to your rental budget:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Southport area. Booking in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property managers often offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
