The bungalow is a 2 min. walk from door to toes in the surf, using a private beach just access across the street. This home is very kid friendly with tons of toys and infant/ kid items for young families. It has a wide porch and giant pool deck for calming and games

An outdoor shower is available for post-beach wash off. Pool seating, picnic table outdoor dining table are on the pool deck. The pool is cleaned twice a week by our pool company.
There's seating on a wide front porch for island viewing.

There's plenty of parking under the home and in the driveway. We provide bicycles for getting around the island. A car is needed to drive to eateries and stores.

Come savor Holden Beach's more private ambiance. This home is located on the less populated west end where there's no public parking. Holden Island is rather narrow, so you'll appreciate vistas of both the ocean and the inter-coastal waterway.

You will need a car to access stores and eateries.

We know packing for travel, especially with kids, can be frustrating. We strive to provide as much as we can for our guests. Unlike most beach homes, we provide most personal and household products some of which include: Shampoo, conditioner, kids shampoo, body wash, cleaning products, laundry and dish detergent, paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, etc.

About the Area

Located in Holden Beach, this vacation home is near the beach. Lockwood Folly Country Club and River's Edge Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Magic Mountain Fun Park and Planet Fun. Traveling with kids? Consider Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium. Looking to get your feet wet? Jet skiing, fishing and swimming adventures can be found near the property.

  • To find the best value, try shifting your trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection.
