Here, your mornings will be graced by impressive sunrises and your evenings will wind down with striking sunsets, all right from your own beach access! Our appealing 3-bedroom home also features a enchanting loft, fitted with a bunk bed ideal for the kids. We've got two rooms with plush king beds and another with a snug queen bed. And the loft? It's like a magical little world of its own for the younger guests. Now, imagine stepping onto the broad deck, where the invigorating ocean breeze accompanies your morning cup of Joe or your rejuvenating afternoon drink. • Summer months are the most expensive season in Bald Head Island. To find the largest vacation home within your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
• In the Southport area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation rental six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
• Property managers often offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. • Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed everything at check-out. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition.
