The Yaupon Dunes pool is open annually from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Specific condo communities may keep the pool open past Labor Day depending on the homeowner's association's recommendation.

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To find the best value, try changing your family's Southport vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons.
