The unit is cleaned with IN-CIDE. This product is used in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, hotels, motels, institutional, industrial, eateries, food handling and processing areas, USDA inspected food processing facilities.

Three bedroom 2 full bath historical beach bungalow. Constructed in 1927 our home is safe , comfortable, and family friendly. Keep the blanket handy because you will need it for the complimentary family movie at the lake every Sunday evening starting when the sun goes down! How to find the best rental experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Southport area. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring is an excellent way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • In the Southport area, The earlier your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guide magazines have offers and deals for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Filter your rental search:

  • To start, have your family decide on date ranges and a max budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Two Minutes to the Ocean sleeps 4 has 2 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, contact the property management company before you book your home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to work out which bed configuration is best for your vacation.
  • Is your family looking for unique amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your . Store the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Record any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be very helpful if a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of issues.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors bothering your life at home. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental while you are out. Protect your property!
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on great feedback to stimulate new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will will be grateful for your experience find their best vacation home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
