Come and savor this freshly modernized 3-bedroom 3.5 bath home located in Bald Head's Maritime Forest. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the back screened in porch has plenty of space for dining or appreciating the wildlife vistas on the couch. The downstairs has the living area and kitchen which comes equipped with new appliances and a sizable island with bar seating space. The master bedroom with a king bed is downstairs with a connected bathroom that has a double sink, soak in tub, and a separate stand-up shower. Upstairs has another master with a king bed and connected bathroom with a standalone shower. The other bedroom is ideal for the kids! It has 2 sets of bunk beds (4 twins) with its own bathroom that has a shower/tub combo. Being in the heart of the island, this space is ideal for proximity to all the amenities on Bald Head.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. With surfing/body boarding, fishing, and swimming nearby, you'll find plenty of adventures in the water.

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Southport area. To get the best value, consider changing your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
• Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
