  • Summer is high season in Wrightsville Beach. Booking in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance.   • On check-out day, take a final walk-through to confirm you haven't leave anything behind. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
