The main floor treats you to striking vistas of the ocean and white sandy south beach. The gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream, featuring bespoke cabinetry, an XL center island, fresh tile backsplash, high-end stainless-steel appliances with plenty of cabinetry for storage and a bar entertainment station with drink cooler, and ice maker. The dining table and center island seats 12 guests with impressive ocean vistas. Think Serena and Lilly furnishings throughout. The enormous living room accepts plenty of family and entertainment time. The open-concept layout seamlessly connects to broad outdoor living spaces, ideal for soaking in the coastal ambiance and to allow all to gather and appreciate the salty breeze while calming in the chaise lounge chairs or while gathering around for a meal cooked on the gas grille.

The first floor welcomes you to the five-bedroom suites each one thoughtfully designed with comfort and style in mind, offering a calming haven for relaxation after a day of beachside fun. The master bedroom is a getaway in itself offering a king size bed and private bathroom with an upsized walk-in tiled shower. Next you will find a bedroom with a queen size bed and a private bathroom with a walk-in tiled shower. Two additional opulent bedrooms, each have queen beds and elegantly tiled bathrooms. Across the hall is the bunk room that has two, bespoke constructed bunk beds with two double beds with twin over them and another bunk with twin. The bunk room has a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo. There is an open media additional room to comfortable up with a book, play a board game, or watch a good movie with the ocean sounds in the background

This home provides guests with three golf carts, 1 six seat, and 2 four to savor the island. It also provides the convenience of a booster seat, a pack n play, for those with modest kids. For entertainment, high speed internet is included. A First Nighttime Amenity Kit including toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soaps and shampoo will be waiting for you!

Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at The Clubs at St. James and Southport Marina. How to get the best value:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Southport area. To find the largest rental within your budget, we recommend reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection.
