Appreciate the queen master getaway with its own attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. The upstairs loft has a half bath, queen bed & bunk bed which has a full size on the bottom and a twin on top. The best feature for the upstairs has its own private deck to take in the ocean vistas from the top floor. Enjoy cruising the island in a 4 pass cart that is proved with the rental. About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Southport restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • The sooner you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked very early. Reserving your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.

  • When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to make sure you didn't forget anything. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a great stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was great, they would love to hear it.
