This roomy one bedroom, one bath, second floor vacation rental includes a king bed and 1100 square feet of living space. It is a mile from Sunset Beach and between Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC. The villa overlooks the breathtaking Maples course--one of three signature golf courses at Sea Trail Resort.

Unwind in comfort in the sizable living room with a flat screen TV and comfortable seating. The screened porch is accessible from the living room and bedroom. Sprawl out on the king size bed and appreciate not only the view but your favorite TV shows also.

The unit is entirely equipped with dishes, pots, pans and complimentary spices. Take advantage of the huge laundry room with washer and dryer to avoid packing tons of clothing! About the Area

Located in Sea Trail, a neighborhood in Sunset Beach, this condo is next to a golf course and by the sea. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Ocean Isle Beach and Holden Beach. Ingram Planetarium and Museum of Coastal Carolina are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to book & When to go:

  • In the Southport area, The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best properties are booked very early. Reserving your vacation home six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • Summer is high season in the Southport area. To find the best value, try shifting your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer excellent temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.

  • Respect the neighborhood. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good reviews to drive more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
