Ocean Isle Beach is one of the most striking and unique islands off the coast of North Carolina. It is one of the South Brunswick Islands which were named by Money magazine in 2001 as one of the top ten most handsome and best places to vacation in the United States. Ocean Isle Beach is six miles long with powder-white sand, sun-danced waves, and windswept marshlands.

Driving times from Virginia and Northern cities to Ocean Isle Beach are as close as or closer than the Outer Banks due to the convenient access and reduced traffic.

It is a family-aligned, casual pace of life style, peaceful, non-commercialized, pretty beach. There are twelve golf courses and many eateries within ten miles and hundreds within 50 miles.

Ocean Isle Beach offers humongous advantages over the Northern Outer Banks with much warmer water and a wide gently sloping beach ideal for kids and adults to play and swim. It also offers giant advantages over the Myrtle Beach area because it is not congested and commercialized. It is the ideal place for visitors and families who want to relax and appreciate a peaceful, calming, anxiety-complimentary vacation adults and kids will just appreciate. There is a reason families have returned to Ocean Isle Beach every year for over 40 years.

THIS PROPERTY IS AVAILABLE ONLY FOR FAMILY RENTALS

Our Windjammer II Unit EE is one of only eight units in this handsome, two-level building which is located on the West End of Ocean Isle Beach. You will appreciate the enormous pool located directly in front of this newly constructed unit! While it is not ocean view you are just a few steps and less than a one-min. walk to the beach and NO streets to cross.

It is very sizable and roomy with over 2300 square feet of interior space plus two sizable porches which overlook the pool and cabana area. You are not and do not feel cramped in this home and it is much bigger than most of the cottages and other condominiums on Ocean Isle and other beaches. The kitchen is cavernous with a huge capacity refrigerator, huge microwave, two coffee makers, tile floors, and tons of cabinet space.

WIRELESS BROADBAND INTERNET ACCESS IS PROVIDED!

The dining and family living area is tiled with area rugs and has tons of seating with a intelligent TV, with cable. The Master Bedroom is on first level and has a private bath. Two of the six bedrooms and two baths are on the first level and the second level has four bedrooms and two baths. Two of the four bedrooms on the second level have a huge porch which overlooks the pool and sundeck area.

Two wide covered porches, one on each floor, overlook the spacious pool and sundeck and provide morning sun, but welcome the shade in the afternoon. You can sit in your rocking chair and savor the sights at the pool while reading a good book.

The walk to the beach is less than a min., and there is a large deck on the beautiful beach you can sit on or put your beach chairs on the beach and watch the world go by. The beach is just beautiful and is great to play on or walk down to the inlet and watch the boats come in after a day of fishing or watch the amazing sunsets. The beach is not busy and you have tons of room to play and walk.

There is very limited commercial activity on Ocean Isle but there is a mini golf course, arcade, and ice cream parlor which families have adored together for years. Half a dozen eateries provide a varied menu for eating out, and there is a pizza parlor on the island.

There is a private locked storage room in the carport area which you can use for your beach toys, fishing gear, etc., and the covered carport has room for three cars plus there is plenty of excess parking near the building.

Finding the best Southport rental home experience:

When to visit & When to book:

  • The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • Reserve your vacation in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Southport area visitors guides which often include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Southport visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to pick the perfect vacation home in Ocean Isle Beach:

  • Choose a designated group leader, choose your vacation week, and choose a budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration your group needs. Recently Renovated Spacious 6 Bedroom Condo, Just Steps From The Ocean has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is almost always available on booking pages. If they are not listed, reach out to the property manager before you book the rental. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to work out what is best for your vacation group.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the property manager about allowable breeds and types before booking.
  • Does your group require special amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental

Know before you go:

  • Get the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental. We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, stereo or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent a lot of concerns.
  • Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let burglars spoil your trip.
  • Make a record of any damages to the property at check in, and immediately send them to the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are valuable if there is a dispute.
  • Be a good neighbor. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on great feedback to compel future reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
