This appealing one bedroom / one bath bungalow is the ideal little hideaway! It is located in the harbor village of Bald Head Island and located directly on the bulk head facing the marina. The vistas are one of a kind! Savor spectacular sunsets or watch the boats pull into the marina. Our bungalow includes a queen bed and 2 twin cots that are additional comfortable if the kiddos decide to join! Your four legged kids are welcome too! The island is very pet friendly and we welcome them as our guests as well.

Located in Bald Head Island, this cottage is on the waterfront. Oak Island Golf Club and Founders Club at St. James Plantation are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport. Getting the most from your rental budget:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Bald Head Island. To find the best value, try changing your family's Southport vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to confirm you did not forget anything. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Many rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
