This striking one bedroom / one bath bungalow is the ideal little hideaway! It is located in the harbor village of Bald Head Island and located directly on the bulk head facing the marina. The vistas are one of a kind! Savor spectacular sunsets or watch the boats pull into the marina. Our bungalow includes a queen bed and 2 twin cots that are additional comfortable if the kiddos decide to join! Your four legged kids are welcome too! The island is very pet friendly and we welcome them as our guests as well.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this cottage is on the waterfront. Oak Island Golf Club and Founders Club at St. James Plantation are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Carolina Beach Boardwalk are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to reserve a Southport rental & When to go:

• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
• Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and scan for damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
• Did your group have a fantastic time? Most rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
