Come savor the serenity of our bungalow! It is tucked in the maritime forest with tons of privacy but convenient to all the islands amenities. Our community has a pool for your enjoyment and less than a 2 min golf cart ride to the beach! We have an open floor plan with the master and guest bedrooms downstairs and an additional private bedroom upstairs. The kitchen has been freshly updated with new appliances. We have a great sunroom, screened in porch, and wrap around deck that is ideal for outdoor entertaining. We have 2- 4 passenger golf carts and a Lifestyle Temporary membership to the BHI club can be purchased separately. This home is pet friendly. Please note that we do charge a $300 plus tax pet fee that is non-returnable.

Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum. Get the best rental home value:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Southport area. Booking a rental in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses.
